The different evolution’s stage of the disease :

The first appearance of the disease can be misinterpreted as herpes or as a yeast infection. This is a first appearance but it can itch without being colorful.

It all begin with one or multiples red or purple spots but it can quickly evolve to a stage 2.

 

Step 2a : spreading of the disease

The red spot have spread around the genitals and could possibly spread further.

It cal evolve into a clusters of papules on the outer surface of the genitals resembling cold sores.

Step 2b : evolution to cysts

In some cases, spots doesn’t open up but continue to grow under the skin.  Cyst might not be painful but must be treated quickly to avoid stage 3.

Cyst can be treated with some tea tree oil, castor oil or with some light surgical operation.

Even if the cyst is not painful, it must be treated on time !

Step 3 : necrosis caused by the blue waffles disease

Without a proper treatments, cyst can rot from the inside and the only thing to do is to perform a surgical operation to remove the “dead member”.

The vagina appears dirty, which could be the culprit for the infection. There is a discoloration of the labia and the surrounding skin. Any sexual intercourse should be avoid and the patient should be tested to ensure the proper treatment.

At this stage, Self-treatment should be avoid and the patient requires intensive treatment and care.
